NCI informed HMCG of 2 containers of sulphuric acid washed up on the beach. NCI considered it to be an urgent public health hazard. CG tasked fire brigade, who confirmed they were safe after scrutiny.
Containers were recovered for safekeeping by NCI until council collected them.
