Incident Summary:
NCI observed a light aircraft approaching very low, and it crash landed 90 mtrs from the lookout. W/K went on foot to confirm exact location, check for casualties, and relay info. back to lookout. A
single pilot emerged, and was tended by passers by. HMCG informed. Strong smell of fuel, so public kept away. HELO, Ambulance, CRT and local ILB all tasked. Council emergency response team also
attended. NCI stood down, pilot had minor injuries, and aircraft secured to structure to protect from incoming tide.
