Vessel issued a Pan Pan with engine failure, attempting to deploy anchor, but unable to make headway - only one competent sailor on board. NCI established visual, confirmed with HMCG. Weather update
provided. No immediate assistance needed. CG then updated by NCI - vessel making headway. Second yacht contacts casualty, and undertakes tow to safety of a buoy outside harbour. Crew safe and
spent night on boat.
