Incident Summary:
HMCG called NCI asking them to look out for a yacht, 3 POB, which the harbour authority were concerned for their safety. Vessel was observed, accompanied by Authority RIB, trying to dissuade them from
continuing. vessel appeared ill prepared, only 1 POB with a lifejacket. The crew of the RIB persuaded the crew to turn back, as they considered the outboard insufficient to complete passage, as the
weather was changing.
