NCI heard a voice May Day on Ch 16, no further details, HMCG informed. CG called all vessels asking for detail, Pan Pan issued. Further May Days were heard, also heard by local lifeguards.
Initial Pan Pan was cancelled, then a second one issued. No further May Day calls were heard, monitoring complete, and a voice recording was sent to CG.
