HMCG issued a May Day re. a vessel on fire. Fishing vessels nearby responded. CG asked NCI for visual, nothing visible. Nearby vessels confirmed there was no vessel on fire. It transpired it was a F.V
starting engines, and smoke was mistaken by MOP as a fire.
