NCI heard an emergency sound from a vessel, then HMCG asked any vessel issuing a May Day to identify themselves. NCI informed CG of their evidence, and vessel confirmed they had carried out an
emergency drill, but no May Day. CG issued a Pan Pan, but no response. incident closed.
