7th May 2019. The team at NCI Rossall Point near Fleetwood were honoured to welcome the High Sheriff of Lancashire to their lookout.

The High Sheriff, The Hon Ralph Assheton was invited to the NCI station at Rossall Point where he took a great interest in the equipment and the activities of the watchkeepers. He also kindly presented several watchkeepers with their five- and ten-year long-service awards. A ten-year long service award was presented to John LG while five year long-service badges were presented to watchkeepers Ann D, Stuart M, Charles H and Nicola A.

NCI Trustee Mike Byrne, who is also a watchkeeper at Rossall Point, presented the recipients with certificates.
