23rd October 2017. Certificates and awards were presented to Exmouth National Coastwatch Institution members for their dedication to the sea safety service.

Brian Roberts (pictured left) and Alan Stone (right) were presented with certificates for both successfully qualifying as a watchkeepers. A spokesman for NCI Exmouth said: “They are the latest of a number of recent volunteers who have completed their training and passed their assessment together with their VHF radio qualifications.”

In the center of the photograph is Colin Wells who was presented with a certificate and badge to commemorate his 10 years of service with Exmouth Coastwatch.

Exmouth NCI welcomes new volunteers to join its existing team. The NCI spokesman added: “Additional volunteers will help to enable Exmouth National Coastwatch to continue their new regime of increased watch times and thereby providing greater safety for those using the beach and estuary throughout the year.”
