NCI ROSSALL POINT RECEIVES QUEENS AWARD

27th September 2017. NCI Rossall Point has received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.

At the awards ceremony held in the Preston County Hall council chambers, the current Rossall Point Committee, along with the previous Station Manager and Treasurer, received the award on behalf of all of the team at the Fleetwood station. The prestigious award was presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, Lord Shuttleworth.

Representing the Rossall Point station were Station Manager R Loynes, Deputy Managers D Croall and S Scholes, Treasurer A Davies, PR Officer S Macgregor, Training Officer T. Holt  and Members Representatives K Rennison and G Halliwell , along with former Station Manager S Martin and former Treasurer D English.

It was an excellent day and the whole team were pleased and proud to receive this award on behalf of all the members at Rossall Point, the most northerly station in the National Coastwatch Organisation.
