NCI TORBAY RECEIVES DANCERS' DONATION

15 March 2012 - NCI Torbay members joined a merry dance with a welcome visit from the Black Bess Border morris dancers. The dancers performed at Daddyhole Plain during a visit to the NCI watchtower. And they handed over a £750 donation while they were there.
Station manager Peter Temple received a cheque on behalf of the group.
The dancers performed some of their routines and took a tour of the station.
The Black Bess Border morris dancers are based in Kingskerswell with dancers and musicians from the surrounding area.
Each year they select a local charity to donate the proceeds of their dance events throughout the summer months.
A large proportion of the donation came from their New Year's Eve fancy dress ceilidh.
