During 2020 all NCI stations closed for two months at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. On re-opening most stations were single-crewed for the rest of the year.


Please note: NCI Canvey Island was previously know as NCI Holehaven and moved location on Monday 18 October 2021. All NCI Canvey Island Incident Summaries before that date will be in respect of NCI Holehaven at its previous location.

53789 23/06/2025 NCI Torbay Yacht called NCI, it was sailing happily, but had run out of fuel, so unable to enter harbour. NCI informed Harbour Master, who asked NCI to direct them to a mooring, and await assistance next morning, All details passed on to vessel. NCI No No

53462 26/05/2025 NCI Torbay A multi-hull vessel called Harbour master requesting a tow in bad weather, but call unanswered. 2 POB. Vessel listing and anchor not holding.
