PORTLAND RUNNER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR NCI

Kirsty Lynham30 March 2010 - Portland runner Kirsty Lynham (21), who is employed as a nurse in the Neurological Dept at Southampton General Hospital, first started running as a hobby about 18 months ago. Through hard work and dedicated training, she is now poised to achieve her first full marathon when she joins thousands of athletes as they tackle the Edinburgh Marathon on 23 May 2010.

Kirsty will be running in memory of her late brother, Peter Lynham, who was tragically lost overboard whilst working on a local fishing boat in December 2006.
Through sponsorship from family and friends, Kirsty hopes to raise funds for NCI Portland Bill.
