NCI PRAWLE POINT RESCUE MOBILITY SCOOTER WOMAN STUCK ON THE DEVON COAST PATH

6th October 2017. NCI Prawle Point came to the rescue of a woman whose mobility scooter was stuck on a steep and slippery path on the on the Devon coast.

The alarm was raised when one of the volunteer watchkeepers was making his way to the watch station at Prawle Point to start his watch and came across three women on the coast path, one of whom was on a mobility scooter stuck on the steep and slippery path. After rendering assistance, the watchkeeper contacted the HM Coastguard at Falmouth who dispatched the Prawle Point Coastguard Rescue Team who attended the scene to help. With assistance from the NCI watchkeepers the woman and her scooter were safely recovered to her vehicle.
