2nd July 2018. NCI Caister were very pleased to be visited by Freethorpe Brownies during their evening educational excursion to Caister Volunteer Lifeboat Service.

The Brownies enjoyed their view of The Windfarm from the watchroom and were amazed at how many seals they could see on Scroby Sands. Sation Manager Linda Lawrence explained where some of the larger ships were going and how the local fishing boats launched from the beach after being towed down by tractors. All the Brownies were delighted by the views they got from the binoculars that Linda handed out and she was thanked by them and their helpers for an enjoyable visit.
