3rd September 2021. Local author Richard Trahair has set his latest mystery novel “Bleak Encounter at the Cape” around the NCI station at Cape Cornwall and is donating the profits from the book sales to the National Coastwatch Institution.
The book was officially launched by Richard at the Cook Book café in St Just in front of a large audience which included representatives from NCI Cape Cornwall and the local community. Richard thanked everyone who had come to the book launch, gave some of his background and read an extract from his book. He concluded by saying “I greatly appreciate the work of the National Coastwatch Institution, and particularly the watchkeepers at NCI Cape Cornwall and this is why I have decided that all the profits from the sales of this book will go to the Cape Cornwall station”.
“Bleak Encounter at the Cape” is available from Amazon and as a Kindle download.
