18 September 2013  The NCI stand at the Southampton Boat Show was today host to Sir Robin Knox-Johnston (right), the first person to sail round the world non-stop and single-handed in 1968-69.

Sir Robin met National PR Officer Richard Hews, and the volunteers manning the the stand from NCI Needles and Swanage (below).

It is not reported whether he entered our £500 gift voucher competition, being run in partnership with Force 4 Chandlery!
