Motor vessel was in difficulty in thick sea mist during crossing from Channel Islands. AIS not working, fog horn sounding. HMCG asked NCI if they had an update, as comms with CG poor. W/K left lookout
to listen for fog horn. CG radioed vessel with no response. NCI closed lookout with permission from CG, incident ongoing.
