Two founding members of Exmouth NCI have been awarded ten year medals. John Langford and Peter Cobban have reported for duty without fail for a decade.
Exmouth station manager Bill Nash presented them with long service awards in recognition of their service and commitment to the NCI.
Mr Nash said:”One of the first National Coastwatch stations to be opened was Exmouth in June 1988 with just 12 people to man it. Peter Cobban has made a great contribution towards helping new members using his invaluable experience of boat handling and John Langford, one of the first station managers at Exmouth, was also instrumental in opening up NCI Teignmouth.”
