Visitors are welcome during normal watch hours provided there are no overriding operational matters.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Visitor access is suspended during the period of the Covid19 emergency.
Local Hazards
There are many local hazards and most Pilot books recommend "approach to this Estuary should not be attempted without local knowledge". In the approach channel the spring ebb can exceed 3.3kn particularly following heavy rain. Off Warren Point the ebb can exceed 4.5kn once the Bull Bank has uncovered and the flood stream runs at 3-4kn. Entrance to the marina can be challenging.

Visual features of station
The Harbour View tower was built for the old Exmouth Yacht Club over the winter of 1895 to 1896. The lookout is built in red brick with a tiled roof and has a flagstaff on the sea side of the tower.
