Welcome to the NCI Moelfre station.
We are situated at the extremity of the Moelfre promontory, just behind the monument. It's a great spot, if somewhat exposed. The Anglesey Coastal Footpath passes within yards of our station.
To the east we can see the Great Orme, to the west we have Point Lynas and to the North, Moelfre Island. On a good day the mountains of the Isle of Man peep above the horizon.
Our nearest RNLI station is Moelfre, with its Tamar ALB and ILB
Visitor Policy
Visitors are very welcome, though we have to ask you to stay outside the cabin.
Access
Access to the station is via a footpath round the headland from the RNLI Station or from the road. Parts of the path run close to the sea and cliff edge, can be slippery, and require care.
The site is not accessible by wheelchair.
Local Hazards
Waves of over 10m may be expected in Northerly storm conditions. Rocky outcrops with steep, open, cliffs. On land, surfaces can be slippery in rain and the whole area is very exposed. The shape of the land masses leads to severe gusts in strong winds.
